FontLab VI 6.0.9 update

FontLab VI 6.0.9, together with the previous 6.0.8 update, brought a batch of editing and export improvements. Both were free updates.

Here is what the two updates added:

Composite glyphs and auto layers got better handling, including a quick way to create auto layers across multiple glyphs and layers, and an extended glyph-recipe syntax that allows scaling and flipping of components.
List view in the Font window now lets you choose which columns appear and drag them into the order you want.
A new Glyphs Bar in the Glyph window helps you move through your glyph set without leaving the editor.
A new Guides section in Font Info gives you control over font guides.
You can arrange classes manually in the Classes panel.
The Features panel gained auto-complete and drag-and-drop.
A contextual Quick Help panel is available from the Help menu, with new Quick Tips on the Welcome screen.
A setting shows or hides placeholders for missing glyphs in the Glyph window. With placeholders on, double-click one to create the glyph (Preferences > Editing > Show missing glyph placeholders).
Copy and Paste buttons appear in the Font Info Family and Font Dimensions sections.
Working with Genius nodes improved.
You get more control over PostScript-to-TrueType outline conversion, plus easier ways to add missing extrema and implied TrueType nodes.
The optional VFJ format (FontLab VI’s JSON) is more human-readable.
Exported bitmap color fonts (Google CBDT, Apple sbix) are smaller.
An optional Profile setting can include open contours in exported fonts.
