FontLab Pad 2.1: free typesetting app that lets you use every font and every glyph
FontLab Pad 2.1 adds OpenType feature controls and other improvements. And it’s still free for Mac and Windows!
FontLab Pad¶
FontLab Pad is our small typesetting companion app: typeset your text using any font, copy or export the result as PDF, SVG or PNG, and place it in your favorite app!
FontLab Pad 2: get the look you want, then paste it where you need it
You found a font you love, and your app is showing you a fraction of it. With FontLab Pad 2 you try the font without installing it, set your headline exactly the way you want it, and paste the result into whatever you are working in. Pad has been free for ten years, and it still is!
DTL OTMaster 5.0, vfb2ufo, and FontLab Pad 1.1
December 2014 brought a major update to DTL OTMaster, plus two new free tools. We released a command-line UFO converter and an updated color font typesetter.
